so i’ve been to a bunch of (read: two) weddings recently and with kim k, kate moss, and katie shillingford all taking the plunge, weddings, and arguably more importantly wedding dresses, are on ze brain.
say yes to the dress points it out really well. (yes, i’ve watched all 5 seasons on netflix!) most brides pick more or less the same dress over and over with few exceptions. they want to look like a princess, they say. elegant. classic. pretty. all understandable ways to want to look on your wedding day, but if i was randy, i’d want to shoot myself in the middle of kleinfeld’s floor. too harsh??
this leads me to my collection of givenchy dresses from the past several seasons that get two thumbs WAY UP when it comes to more interesting wedding wear.
ricardo really is doing everything right and nothing wrong in my eyes.
i GUESS i would give this a lining or something if i was lucky enough to get hitched in it. we don’t want grandma to faint.
ditto for this one.
aaaaand maaaaaybe i would switch out the cartoon viking headgear for something else. MAYBE.
but thiiiis head piece would stay.
the ombre effect on this gown and the arm bands i think make this look my favorite. <3

all of these natural disasters are brand new for me as a northeastern girl. what gives?
now there is no reason not to move to california if new york isn’t safe from this stuff.
